The Cherokee Media Group continues its series of award programs that honor the most dedicated and talented professionals from throughout the used-car industry. Women in Auto Finance, their newest addition, presented by American Recovery Service, showcases a variety of extraordinary women within the auto finance field.
Sagent Lending Technologies is proud to have Shaimaa Elk, one of this year’s honorees, as its CIO. Shaimaa fell into auto finance from the mortgage industry and is a valuable asset to our company.
She is responsible for operations and technology for Sagent Lending Technologies. Together with her global team, Shaimaa enables present and future operations for many of American’s largest auto and mortgage lenders and is helping them accelerate their digital transformation and to make the lending experience better for everyone.
Shaimaa has decades of leadership experience in the financial industry with focus on Lending. She held progressively senior technology roles including the CTO for leading fortune 500 firms. Prior to her role with Sagent, Shaimaa served as Digital Transformation Officer and Chief Information Officer of one of fastest growing divisions in Fiserv.
Shaimaa is a graduate of Bishop’s University in Quebec with a degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Currently, Shaimaa is pursuing a second post graduate degree in Management at Harvard University.
